Donna LaJoyce Taylor
Donna LaJoyce Taylor was born in Dumas, Arkansas on August 27, 1962 to the Late Ruby Lee and the Late Fletcher Reed. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Willie Lee, Jr. and her brother Derrick Lee.
Donna graduated from Dumas High School in Dumas, Arkansas in 1980. She graduated from the
University of Central Arkansas, Conway in 1984 with a degree in Criminal Justice. She went on to work at a bank, and eventually found her forever career in Human Resources where she spent many years helping others to their career goals.
Donna accepted Christ at an early age and joined West Dumas Church of God in Christ until she went to college where she joined Mt Sanai COGIC. Donna later moved to Little Rock and joined Gaines Street Baptist church in 2008, where she served on the Greeters Ministry, Intercessory Prayer Team, Women’s Ministry and the Health & Wellness Ministry.
Donna leaves to cherish her memory one son, Kendall (Erin) Carter and one daughter Kristen Carter both of Conway, Arkansas, six grandchildren; Kentreal Carter, Kyndell Carter, Kamryn Tolliver, Jordyn Carter, Jazmine Mayo and Jaiden Mayo, three brothers; Anthony Williams (Paula) of Mabelvale, Arkansas; Charles Lee (LaTosha) of Kansas City, Missouri; and Brian Reed of Modesto, California., two sisters: Mereceree Goodwin (Anthony) of Sikeston, Missouri and Shonnie Wilson (Royce) of Monticello, Arkansas, and her stepmother Gwen Reed of Modesto, California. Aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, three special besties and many, many friends.
